Subsequent to graduating from Middlebury College in Vermont, John earned a masters degree in physical geography from SUNY Buffalo. For four years he served as assistant to counsel for Boston Edison working on litigation and regulatory matters. At Boston College Law School, he edited and authored a law review dedicated to domestic and foreign civil rights. John's private law practice concentrates in the areas of real estate and civil litigation, including insurance defense, family law, and civil and criminal appeals. He is admitted to practice before the state courts of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
