Michael A. Costello
Of Counsel

Michael A. Costello joined Andrews & Updegraph in 2006, of counsel. Michael Costello served as City Counselor in Newburyport, Massachusetts and is currently a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the First Essex District. As a State Representative, Mr. Costello serves on the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight and the Joint Committee on the Judiciary. He was recently named Chairman of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.

Representative Costello attended Salem State College and Suffolk University Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctor. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Essex County where he amassed extensive jury trial experience.

Representative Costello is a life long resident of the North Shore and currently resides in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
